“Persistence, stamina, pursuit of goals and happiness. These are the key features of our seminar in St. Petersburg. How can one imagine the illustration of such vital things of one person’s life? Well, the leaders on the seminar gave way to their imagination to let the audience understand these values pretty well. Founders Crown Ambassador Vera Arkhipova showed the essence of the business as team-work. She invited some people to the stage, gave them a green thread to hold on to, held it herself and illustrated how those people should follow her making a strong team all together, moving forward side by side, answering questions, solving problems as a team, not everyone on his own. This is the way to build a business! Guest speaker and EDC from Malaysia, Simon Thompson accompanied his speech on a dream night with jogging on a treadmill right on the stage! Not only did he do it on the stage. He won the Nutrilite marathon that took place on Sunday morning and involved most of Diamonds and above. Keep going! Be persistent! All these principles were communicated from the podium decorated with a huge sun (although I’d better say a huge ball that did resemble the sun). A new galaxy, a new reality, a new hope, a new power to achieve the goals! Astonishing and awesome was it!”

In the five years the tournament has run, several thousand children from throughout Eastern Europe have participated. In 2011 over 60 teams participated, 1200 young football players, from the ages of  9 to 14 year old.

This is the biggest Children football event in the Ukraine. It is at this event that new talents are being discovered, some of whom are further growing into future sport stars. As Igor says, “Investing in our youth is an honor. We have so much to be thankful for and simply want to share our blessings with the next generations, and what better way than to help them to engage in team sports to strengthen their bodies, confidence and souls.”

“Hello All,  When Rich saw Terry at the exclusive Black Tie opening of The Amway Center he said….”Hi Terry, I am happy to see you. You look great!”   What a memory.  Rich is a legend.

An incredible evening… Jim & Nancy, The Boston Pops Orchestra, James Taylor, fabulous dinner and only 800 guest in an arena that seats 18,000. $300,000 was raised for a charity that sees to the needs of the homeless.  Just wanted to share with you all an evening we’ll never forget.

g to those less fortunate … first with the Budapest flood and now with heads up on the work that Network TwentyOne and it’s charitable subsidiary, Network Of Caring, were recently recognized for by Amway Corporation. You guys rock!!!

Recently in Amway’s Achieve magazine, Network TwentyOne was spotlighted for their work done to assist in aid relief to those who suffered from Haiti’s devastating earthquake earlier this year. Inspired by the leadership of Network TwentyOne’s founders Jim and Nancy Dornan… orchestrated by Network Of Caring’s Chief Significance Officer R.D. Saunders… and funded by many Network TwentyOne affiliated Amway business owners around the world, 550 wheelchairs were delivered and distributed to Haitians in need.

With over $30 million dollars in support raised including over 55,000 children sponsored around the world in the last 13 years, Network TwentyOne and it’s affiliated business owners have and will continue to do amazing things for people in need.

“In the afternoon of October the 4th, 2010, more than 300 families’ lives were shattered in just a few minutes as toxic sludge from a local factory flooded across 4 villages, killing 9 people, injuring many more and destroying the property and homes of over 300 families. To this day, many are still hospitalized with severe chemical burns from this toxic flood.

This tragedy brought together Network TwentyOne, Network of Caring and the International Red Cross last weekend at a Network TwentyOne Business Building Seminar in Budapest, Hungary where the wonderful feeling of the united effort to help others became reality. It was such a blessing to experience the goodwill of Network TwentyOne affiliated Amway business owners as well as Network TwentyOne staff giving in the spirit so often espoused and demonstratd by Network TwentyOne founders, Jim and Nancy Dornan.

With a special thanks to Hans & Eva Nusshold, Crown Ambassadors from Austria for the generous support in kicking off the fund raising effort… over $8,000 in cash donations was collected. Additionally, people were amazed at the huge amount of food and clothing donations that was collected at the entrance of the seminar. Many business owners had tears in their eyes when they realized what unity and goodwill together can achieve. The van that Red Cross has sent to pick up the donations had to return 4 additional times to take away all of the donations for the flood victims. When asked, the representative from the Red Cross said ” I have never experienced such a unity and action from one organization before!”

“Last Sunday, on August 22nd, a young Diamond couple – Anton and Avetlana Karatusha – and all their friends and business partners from Samara and Togliatti (100 km far from Samara), including their upline – Founder Crown Ambassador Vera Archipova – and many other  Diamonds and Above: Ognen Yankovich, Anatolyj and Valentina Telepajlo, Marina and Yuri Makolovy, Elena and Adrey Pogorelovy – were hosting their annual Nutrilite Football (Soccer) match.

The weather was sunny with a cold wind, but it didn’t prevent active Amway AIEs from these two nice Volga cities from gathering together and proving that Amway and N21 teach people not only how to earn money, but how to give it to charity as well.

Then there were special invited guests – kids from a special boarding school with limited physical abilities. At the end of the football match that consisted of 3 games with 5 teams, there was a special competition for these kids organized by some of AIEs. No need to say how much the hearts of all present were touched by this. At the end, all special guests (8 kids) got the gifts from Amway Company and the AIEs. It was a great event, a nice example of motivation, encouragement, team-building, sport spirit and charity notion present in this business!

Both I and the Amway Volga region Development Manager were invited and were present at this event, demonstrating once again the cooperation of 2 global corporate powerhouses in this region!”

Recently several Network TwentyOne leaders in Ukraine partnered with Network of Caring to distribute wheelchairs in their nation. To have mobility as a disabled person in many countries means depending on a loved one to carry you or even crawling on the ground. Many of the handicapped choose rather to just stay home with no life and little hope. Our leaders in Ukraine saw this need in their country and responded with great generosity. They rallied their IBOs, raised tens of thousands of dollars, assembled the chairs, and distributed them to 550 disabled people around Kiev. It was such a positive, rewarding experience that the Ukrainian leadership wants to distribute over a 1000 more wheelchairs! Congratulations to these leaders for partnering with Network of Caring in such a large way and for catching the Dornan’s vision that there is no success without significance.

2009 was a landmark year if for nothing else … it was the year I was “born”. It has been great and I have loved getting to meet so many of you and also interviewing so many of our global leaders. The Podcasts, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and this website have all been useful tools for spotlighting the amazing global community that is Network TwentyOne.

Amway turns 50 – What a great celebration and a statement about the viability and strength of the Amway business opportunity. I was fortunate enough to be in Ada and Las Vegas for the celebrations and the vision of so many leaders from around the world coming together to celebrate Amway’s success.

.

Network TwentyOne celebrated “20 Years of Excellence” in Las Vegas with hundreds of Diamonds and above from around the world. As John Maxwell pointed out in addressing the Network TwentyOne Diamonds, “the global leadership team of Network TwentyOne is truly unprecedented and to be respected for the achievement it represents.” And it is in just such an environment with so many leaders brought together from over 25 countries that we begin to recognize the strength and power of our “global community”.

Jim and Nancy Dornan were recognized for achieving 50 FAA points and spotlighted in Amway’s Achieve magazine (click here to read the article). In addition to this Jim and Nancy were presented with a check from Amway for $2,000,000.00 in Washington DC at our annual Free Enterprise conference… and yes that is their new Hawker 800 jet in the background that they spent their FAA bonus on. Nothing like seeing leaders reinvesting their earnings back into building their business.

Network TwentyOne launched it’s 1st iPhone application which while not changing the way anyone is building their business, showed it’s globally affiliated business owners that they are serious about embracing technology in unique and relevant ways. Also look for major changes to Channel-21 this year that will, amoung other things, allow subscribers to view the streaming content from their smart phones.

Network TwentyOne North America launched it’s new website (www.n21.com) and with it a new video on it’s homepage entitled “We’re Not Guessing“. Look for a similar look and feel on other Network TwentyOne websites including n21corp.com in 2010 as we continue to invest to support Network TwentyOne affiliated business owners around the world.
